Training Chief Eric Alvarez was born in San Bernardino, CA. At the age of 16, Chief Alvarez moved to Willits, CA. After graduating Willits High School, he started his career in the casino industry. Shortly after in 2012, Chief Alvarez began volunteering with Little Lake Fire District, working his way through the ranks from fire fighter, engineer then captain. Recently Chief Alvarez resigned from the casino industry and accepted a full time position as a Training Chief with the department. Working a full time job with volunteering being very taxing on the family, Chief Alvarez feels it would not have been possible without the love and support from his loving wife and two beautiful daughters.
