Nancy was born and raised in Willits, CA. In 1996 she was hired by Chief Jeff Smith as the Secretary for our Fire District. She retired from the department after 19 years of service. During that time she also served as Secretary/Treasurer to the Board of Directors. She has worked in the Secretarial field for most of her life except for taking a few years at home when her daughters Liz and Jana were young. She worked for REMCO, Little Lake Industries and Flowers by Annette. Most of her working years were in the public sector; she was the first Secretary to be hired by the Mendocino County Museum and also worked for the Justice Center and the City of Willits. She and her husband Roger have been together for 30 years and together they have three adult children and lots of grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with. They also enjoy time camping and exploring the United States in their travel trailer. Nancy also served as a Director for the Willits Senior Center for five years. Her passion for our Fire District led her to apply for a vacancy on our Board in 2017.
